NEO Bankside completes and compliments its
unique, riverside location. The development’s
hexagonal pavilions have been imaginatively
arranged to provide residents with maximum
daylight. Its distinctive exterior reflects
the district’s industrial heritage. Private,
landscaped gardens have been designed
to integrate with their wider surroundings,
enabling the creation of significant, new
green spaces. A series of tree-lined routes
will provide public access to Tate Modern
and the Thames during the day.

The richly landscaped
gardens at NEO Bankside
have been designed to
integrate with their wider
surroundings, in particular
around Tate Modern, so
as to create a significant,
new, public realm.
A series of linear groves
of Aspen and Birch will
be incorporated into the gardens, providing public access to Tate Modern
and the riverside during
the day.
Sustainabilty is a key
philosophy within the
design of NEO Bankside.
Harvested rainwater will
be used to irrigate the
landscaped areas.
Ground source heat pumps provide central heating in winter and cooling in summer. More than 10 percent of NEO Bankside’s energy will come from sustainable sources, primarily through water heating solar panels.
Bankside will be a
commercial focal point
within the neighbourhood.
The ground level of the
development contains 11,000 square feet of
retail space, which will be
dedicated to restaurants,
cafes and other high-
quality retail outlets. Terraces will create a
vibrant, al fresco dining atmosphere.
Security is of paramount
importance at NEO
Bankside. Entry to each
pavilion is via a dedicated,
communal lobby area and
apartments are accessed
via exterior glass lifts.
A top class, hotel-style, central concierge service
to tend to all residents needs and
concerns is available twenty four hours a
day. During night-time, access to the site
and its gardens is restricted to residents
only, with a protected swipe card system
in operation.
